How Taxoshi Works
Our step by step wizard guides you through the process of uploading data and configuring your reports. Then our algorithims do the heavy lifting and calculate your tax position in accordance with Inland Revenue's latest guidance.
Trading History
You can simply export your trading history from any of our supported exchanges and upload the files directly into the wizard.
If we don't support an exchange you trade on, we do have our own Custom Data CSV format which you can fill in to make sure all of your trades are accounted for.

Mining History
You don't need to export or upload any data, all we need is your mining address or the address your pool mining payments are going to.
Then we look up your address on the blockchain and figure out how many mining rewards were earned and use them as part of your calculation.

Summary and Review
We give you an activity overview to review which summarises your trades and mining activity across all the data you've input into the wizard.
This overview should give you a good indication that we've successfully processed all the data you expected as part of your uploads.
We keep all data you've uploaded private, it will not be shared with any third party without your express permission.
Configure and Choose
Once you're sure we've got all your data, you can configure your financial year start and the currency you want to report in.
You can also review the currencies you've traded and flag any which should not be included in your tax calculation if you believe them to be exempt.
You can select multiple years if you're sure we've got all the data, or you can do them one at a time. Either way, it's important to start with the earliest data you want to report on so the inter-year accounting works correctly.
